GOVERNOR ABDI GUYO LEADS UDA CAMPAIGN FOR TUBI MOHAMED TUBI IN ISIOLO SOUTH

Описание: Isiolo County Governor Abdi Guyo led a large political delegation in the towns of Garbatulla and Kinna, within Isiolo South Constituency, to campaign on behalf of the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) candidate, Tubi Mohamed Tubi, ahead of the by-election scheduled for the 26th of this month.

The meeting was attended by the President’s Personal Assistant, Farouk Kibet; Isiolo Women Representative Mumina Bonaya; UDA close ally Hassan Omar; as well as leaders and supporters from various areas.

Speaking to residents at a rally that attracted thousands of supporters dressed in UDA’s signature yellow color, Governor Guyo emphasized his firm support for President William Ruto’s government, citing inclusive governance and the development gains achieved in Isiolo County.

The Governor highlighted the appointment of Isiolo natives to senior government positions, including Ms. Rehema Jaldessa, Chairperson of the National Gender and Equality Commission (NGEC); Mr. Mohammed Liban, Cabinet Secretary for Petroleum; Mr. Nur Mohammed, Chief Executive Officer of the Sports, Arts and Social Development Fund; Ms. Zainab Gura, Chief Executive Officer of Kenyatta University Teaching, Referral and Research Hospital; and Mr. Godana Doyo, Chairperson of the Environmental Complaints Committee, among others.

The President’s Personal Assistant, Farouk Kibet, led several national-level leaders and UDA party officials in campaigning for Tubi Mohamed Tubi. Kibet spearheaded the campaigns from Garbatulla to Kinna, urging Isiolo South voters to support the UDA candidate, Tubi Mohamed Tubi, and calling for unity ahead of the by-election.

Following the meetings in Garbatulla and Kinna, Governor Guyo and Mr. Kibet led a fundraising drive (harambee) at Algani Secondary School, where they jointly pledged support toward the purchase of a school bus.

Several political leaders from the counties of Marsabit, Tana River, and Garissa also attended the event, underscoring the regional significance of the Isiolo South by-election
