In 2019, after Hereditary catapulted him to the big leagues, director Ari Aster released his second film, Midsommar, a folk horror film distributed by A24. But it turns out Aster wasn't able to fit everything he wanted to in the theatrical version, which led to him releasing a director's cut.

This extended version expands on the relationship between Dani and Christian, the conflict over Josh's thesis, and the rituals of the Harga, the Swedish cult at the center of the film. But, is it better than the Midsommar we got?

As far as I know, there is no single package that combines both the theatrical and director's cut. You have to buy them separately.
