Condition: Bite has improved slightly despite the full moon; water is rising 0.75–1 foot per day with heavy inflow; algae is thick with 6–18 inches visibility; windy days with morning fog and shifting winds.

Tip: Look for topwater boils in coves during mornings; rip baits and swimbaits are producing; troll shad-colored lures (Lucky Craft, Smithwick) at 2.2 mph, 100–120 feet back, 60–80 feet deep; focus on coves and new flooded areas where stripers chase bait.
