A 15 mile hiking loop beginning at Dry Bridge on Exmoor.
The route took me through a medieval village to Badgworthy Water, through Lorna Doone Country and then onto the Southwest Coast Path. On reaching Contisbury the journey then headed back inland and followed the East Lyn River before climbing back onto the high moors of Exmoor National Park.
A cloudy start, but after a couple of hours the sun broke through resulting in a beautiful early spring day.
