Shot over the summer and fall of 2025 we capture the Housatonic railroad operating on their line from Canaan CT to Pittsfield MA. We were able to video a portion of the line through each town. Featuring switching at Specialty Minerals, Housatonic Depot, Great Barrington Depot, and Stockbridge station. Shots of the railroad as it snakes along its namesake Housatonic River. A special thank you to the Berkshire Scenic RR museum for allowing me access to their property to railfan the Housatonic!
I hope you enjoy over 30 minutes of action on the Housatonic Railroad’s Berkshire line!
