Christie has lived through the roller coaster of living with alopecia in her twenties and has found herself more confident and stronger than ever after she decided to share her authentic self with the world.
Christie started losing her hair right out of college at a critical time, right when she was figuring out what was next in her life. Fast forward nearly four years later, she is now Sports Illustrated Swimsuit’s first bald model.
The journey from blonde, to bald certainly wasn’t easy but she’s maintained the same fierceness and driven attitude since being diagnosed with Alopecia Areata.
Today, she's an advocate for our community and has founded The Baldtourage, a place created to bring together women, of all walks of life, of all ages, who can all relate to the pain, shame, loss, but also, the perks of hair loss at any level.
