Students K-12 may explore Agriculture Careers through involvement in a variety of 4-H activities. This session explains how 4-H helps Maryland youth become more involved in agriculture and explore careers through activities such as 4-H club and 4-H project engagement; specialized curriculum like AGsploration, AGsperience, Healthy Animals | Healthy YOUth, and Kids Growing with Grains; skills building events and experiences at the local, state, national, and international levels; and more.

The UMD ACE Virtual Center can help. ACE stands for Agricultural Careers and Entrepreneurship. This Virtual Center is a project of the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources strategic initiative group on, "Advancing Innovative, Profitable, and Sustainable Agricultural Production Systems".
This virtual center has been created to provide helpful resources, training, and opportunities for current AGNR students, prospective UMD students, K-12 students, and adult citizens who are interested in pursuing a career in an agricultural field to further advance agricultural systems across Maryland.
