It can be served with many dishes, but I like it with Garlic Bread which is ultimate with this Cream of Mushroom Soup.

Mushroom Soup Ingredients

1 pound white or brown button mushrooms, sliced
2 Tbsp unsalted butter
2 Tbsp olive oil
1/2 onion, diced
1 clove garlic, minced
salt and ground black pepper to taste
2 tsp fresh thyme, chopped

1 1/2 tbsp flour
2 cups chicken broth or stock
3/4 cup water
1/2 cup heavy cream

For Garnish :

Chopped fresh Parsley
