Описание: On trial at Bow Street Magistrates Court for inciting the public to riot, on 24th October 1908 Emmeline Pankhurst made a powerful speech from the dock. While onlookers were moved to tears, the magistrate was unmoved and found Emmeline and her co-defendants guilty. Pankhurst was sentenced to three month imprisonment.
