GTA 6, Clickbait and Controversy: some thoughts.

Their video comments on the outsized impact GTA 6's release is likely to have on gaming discourse for years to come, as if it that hasn't been the case for every major release in the last few years, and it touches on a topic I have some fairly strong feelings about: the idea that social media in general is a hell of our own making. When and how we engage with any aspect of it is a personal choice, not a categorical imperative.

Background footage is Digital Devil Story: Megami Tensei and the Excel sheet I'm using for mapping. Apologies if the footage isn't very interesting, but I deleted everything else to make room for my next videos, and it's not like I had a bunch of GTA b-roll lying around anyway.

Just in case anyone's worried: I don't plan on making this a habit. Chill content about whichever game I'm playing at the moment will resume next week and, as always, feedback is appreciated.

If the aspect ratio looks weird, it's because I'm playing on an ultrawide (21:9) monitor, so try watching on one for the better experience or, if you can't, watch it from a phone instead! (pretty much every modern phone uses an aspect ratio that's somewhere between 16:9 and 21:9)
