This is a Tool-Assisted Speedrun. It is not a legitimate run and it exists solely for entertainment purposes. Savestates and slowing the game down in an emulator has been used to create this run.
This TAS improves Garth's 1:21 segmented run ( • intimidator - 1:21 (segmented run) ) by perfecting the route.
I initially started TASing this in a Discord voice channel and i got joined by Kele who helped me with the TAS. He ended up doing everything past 0:34.
This time could maybe be improved by using a different approach for the first wormhole. It might be possible to clip through the floor using collision with the trees next to the wormhole entry, which have some pretty janky behavior. But both Kele and I have bashed our head against it for like an hour and it didn't give anything. If it was possible, it could save several seconds.
Also i was gonna release another video with that one that compared like 6 different ways of doing the start but then i got lazy lol
