In today’s episode, I had the honor of interviewing Isa, who lives with ADHD and Dyscalculia, she courageously shares her journey through self-medication and substance abuse, her corporate career, and what it has truly meant to navigate life while not conforming.
Isa offers powerful and deeply honest insights into identity, and self-acceptance as a neurodivergent person. We talk about systems that weren’t built for you and the freedom that comes from choosing to embrace who you are fully.
This conversation moved us both to tears. It is raw, human, and full of compassion for anyone who has ever felt different and carrying grief.
If you’re curious to explore more about masking and neurodivergence, here are two research-backed resources:

This episode is an invitation to soften toward yourself, to question who you’ve been performing for, and to remember that your differences are not flaws, they are part of your wonderful design.
