Watry Industries also offers semi-permanent mold casting solutions using sand cores to make internal passages. Sand cores are loaded and located precisely in the mold at the beginning of each cycle. Molten metal is then poured into the mold so the cycle can begin. Once the part has solidified, the part is ejected from the mold so the next cycle can begin. The sand is then removed from the part using manual or automated vibratory processes exposing the cast passageways so the part can move onto the next process!
