“The product, we don’t import any of our product. We’re happy that all of our products are made here in the United States, extruded here and sent to us. There have been effects from the tariffs on us, primarily on domestic pricing. Our extrusions have gone up 40 to 50% just because the price of aluminum is expensive because it’s made elsewhere and imported into the United States. However, it’s helped us because we don’t have any supply chain concerns from importing from other places.”

STORYLINE:
The U.S. Supreme Court has struck down some of President Donald Trump’s most sweeping tariffs. But small business owners are worried things are far from over.



Paul Rodgers’ Cucina Baci Italian shop was only open several months when the tariffs hit. He spent countless hours trying to find replacements for items that were either too expensive or unavailable.
