Описание: As an artist I sometimes feel the pressure to always have to create content that pleases the masses or conforms to a specific formula just to be relevant. When you are categorized in a specific genre you feel it has to be executed a certain way. Regardless of these feelings I know at the end of the day that it's me who has to love my work and what I do. I wanted to create a piece that just allowed me to have fun and forget about any of those feelings. I can say that I'm very proud of this piece and that it's %100 me and the way I do things. Since this comes genuinely from my heart I wanted to convey that feeling and positive experience for the viewer watching as oppose to just showing them dance moves.
I also chose a cast from different cultures and back rounds to represent the unity and positivity we have through music art and dance. What inspired this was the opportunities I had to teach abroad and exchange with other countries. I found that even though we do things differently and don't always speak the same language, one thing we do understand universally is art and music. If you put on a song with a great beat everyone just starts bobbin their heads.
I want to thank all the artists and friends who made this experience easy and possible.The process of this piece genuinely made me and my friends smile and all we want is to give that smile back to you :)
