Walkaround della nuova APS Man TGM 15.290 BAI "VSAC 3300M CAFS" cosiddetta "a biodiesel". Il veicolo, targato [VF38159], fa parte di un lotto aggiuntivo di 12 APS rispetto a quello per la fornitura nazionale, dedicato alle Regioni Lombardia e Veneto per il potenziamento del dispositivo di soccorso in occasione delle Olimpiadi Invernali Milano-Cortina 2026. L'APS è dotata di 3100 litri di acqua e 200 litri di schiumogeno, di cui 50 litri classe A e 150 litri classe B, ed è dotata del sistema CAFS modello "BAI CAFS 2.4AB".
Purtroppo sprovvisto delle notoriamente efficaci trombe pneumatiche Fiamm, il mezzo è dotato di dispositivi di allarme Haztec, compresi di una centralina multitono che permette l'uso di sirene diverse dalla bitonale italiana. L'APS e la sua gemella [VF38160] erano dislocate a Livigno al momento del video. Attualmente la prima è in attesa di destinazione definitiva, mentre la seconda è in uso al Comando di Sondrio.

Walkaround of the new Engine/Pumper MAN TGM 15.290 BAI “VSAC 3300M CAFS”, the so-called “biodiesel” version. The vehicle, plate number [VF38159], is part of an additional batch of 12 APS units supplied beyond the main national procurement, deployed to Lombardy and Veneto Regions in order to strengthen emergency response capabilities for the Milan–Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics. The appliance carries 3100 litres of water and 200 litres of foam concentrate, including 50 litres of Class A and 150 litres of Class B, and is equipped with the “BAI CAFS 2.4AB” compressed air foam system. Unfortunately, the vehicle is not fitted with the well-known and highly effective Fiamm pneumatic siren. Instead, it is equipped with Haztec warning devices, including a multi-tone control unit that allows the use of sirens other than the standard Italian two-tone. At the time the video was recorded, this appliance and its sister unit [VF38160] were stationed in Livigno. At present, the former is awaiting final assignment, while the latter is in service with the Sondrio Fire Station [HQ].
