In this episode, Timmy gives a hands-on demo of how signal gain is increased by aiming a beam antenna directly at a signal source. After showing this on NOAA weather radio stations, he takes a Byonics PicCon hidden transmitter controller and places an HT set to low power in a location a mile away and shows how the signal is received back at the beam antenna, vs how is is received on the receiving HT's stock rubber duck antenna.
