This review (as I haven't learn enough to do a tutorial yet) has been a long time coming. I've owned Auryn Ink now for 2 years. I have not used it much due to it not "feeling" right on the iPad. I know that doesn't make a lot of sense, but sometimes I just need a good feeling to create art, and Auryn Ink never had that for me.
It often times felt slow, clunky and old fashioned. Not that old fashioned is bad. But when it comes to digital painting, old-fashioned can be a turn off. And finally one more "old-fashioned" to fill out my paragraph.
So What Changed?
It seems that Auryn Ink had an update that I hadn't noticed before. So I went poking around the other day and lo-and-behold, it has a brand new interface.
And not just any old interface! Nope, an interface that I enjoyed moving about and playing with.
Now, as I said earlier, this is not a tutorial. I hope to do one of those later on this summer. But I did poke and prod around and found that the changes that have been implemented make me want to play with the program again. I want to toss watercolor on a canvas all willy nilly and see what comes up.
So if you're into watercolor, and don't want to sit at a computer, check out Auryn Ink - Auryn Inc.!
So sit back, and enjoy another episode of The Theatre Professor Vidcast!
