For this Gandhinagar Municipal Corpoaration has taken an initiative in which the women of Sakhimandal(Self Help Group) go door to door and provide an understanding of daily source segregation to the citizens at their door step. As results of Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation's project Swachhata Didi, people made segregation their habit due to the awareness campaign of the Women SHG. The segregation work provided employment to the SHG women.
