July 1961. We were over from Greenock during the "Fair" holidays staying with the Milligan family at Tullyheron Farm just outside Maghera in Northern Ireland. David and his son Joe Milligan were related to Bob Morrison a lifelong friend of my father Roy Wilson, both were members of George Square Baptist Church in Greenock and also together in the Greenock Gospel Male Voice Choir for many years. I am the 6 year old in the film and my younger brother Martin was 17 months old at the time.
I'm not sure who some of the people are in the film, looks like we visited them at two different houses in Maghera but presumably relations or friends of the Milligans.
I don't remember much about our visit, or when I was back with the Morrisons for a short visit about 1970, but very glad my dad had his 8mm cine camera to record some of it!
