The admission to the course will be as per B.ASLP regulations of
West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS) Kolkata and Central Govt. norms as given below

For West Bengal (W.B.): (SC-3, ST-1, OBC-4, General-5, PH-1) =14
For Other State (OS): (SC-2, ST-1, OBC-5, General-9) =17
EWS= 3















Bachelor of Science in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology or BASLP is an undergraduate course of 4 years. The course trains students to become audiologists and speech-language pathologists. They learn methods to treat, identify, and prevent hearing disorders in people. The students are also taught about hearing aids and technology.

Objectives of the B.ASLP program

The objectives of the B.ASLP program are to equip the students with knowledge and
skills to
function as audiologists and speech-language pathologists in different work
settings
understand concepts in speech, language, communication, hearing and disability
screen, evaluate, diagnose and assess the severity of different disorders related to
speech, language, swallowing and hearing,
manage speech, language, swallowing and hearing disorders across life span
counsel persons with disorders of communication and their family members
rehabilitate persons with speech, language, swallowing and hearing disorders
prevent speech, language, swallowing and hearing disorders
liaise with professionals in allied fields and other stake holders
implement public awareness and education program,
undertake advocacy measures on behalf of and for persons with speech language
and hearing disorders


BASLP का Full Form “Bachelor in Audiology and Speech – Language Pathology” होता है जिसे हिंदी में “श्रवणविज्ञान और वाणी में स्नातक – भाषा विकृति विज्ञान” कहा जाता है। इसमें आपको audiologists and speech-language pathologists के संबधित विषय पर Theoretical और Practical ज्ञान दिया जाता है। students को लोगों में hearing disorders के इलाज, पहचान और रोकथाम के तरीके सिखाये जाते है।


BASLP Duration
इस Course की अवधि 4 साल की होती है और यह 8 Semesters में Divided होता है। इसमें आपको 3 साल तक Regular Classroom चलते है और Course के अंतिम साल में Internship करनी होती है।


BASLP Eligibility

अगर आपने आपका 12th यानि 10+2 Science Stream से Pass किया है तो आप इस Course के लिए Eligible हो। इसमें Math’s और Biology दोनों group के students Admission दिया जाता है। हमारे देश में कुछ ऐसी भी University और Colleges है जो इस Course में Admission देने के लिए कुछ Percentage अनिवार्य रखती है जो 50% होना चाहिए। मतलब उन University और Colleges में Admission के लिए आपके 12th में 50% होने चाहिए।


BASLP Fees

वैसे तो हर College की Fees उसकी Facility, Infrastructure, Type और अन्य चीज पर Depend करती है और हमारा आपसे सुझाव है की आप कोशिश करे की आपको Government College में प्रवेश मिल जाये क्युकी Private College के मुकाबले Government College की Fees बहोत कम होती है और उसकी Degree की Value भी ज्यादा होती है। भारत में BASLP की Average Fees 50 हजार से 4 लाख के बिच में हो सकती है।

BASLP Salary

आपकी Salary आपके अनुभव, skills और Company Size, Industry वगैरह Depend करता है पर BASLP पूरा करने के बाद आपकी Average Salary 30 हजार से 50 हजार महीना के बिच में हो सकती है।
