I found this half-melted VHS under a stack of old computer manuals.

This is Puss in Boots (1999), a movie animated entirely by ONE man in his basement.
The Find: Phil Nibbelink used to work for Disney (The Lion King, Who Framed Roger Rabbit), but he left to make... this. The characters float above the ground, the lip-sync is terrifying, and the whole thing feels like a fever dream.
It is an impressive feat of endurance, but a difficult feat of viewing.
