Birsa Munda Park is at a distance of 5.6 km from the Dhanbad Railway Station and 5 k#m from the main bus stand. For commuting within the city, one can hire a private taxi or cab or opt for an auto rickshaw. An alternative option is to catch a local bus.
The elderly residents of Dhanbad frequent the walkways present in the park. The kids, however, limit themselves to the play area that comprises of a toy train along with several other rides. There is a canteen available on the park premises for all gastronomic needs.
