Lost Frontier Chapter 21 (3-Stars)

McGraw's level for this mission was 31.

This is the most difficult chapter in the game to complete, and going for three stars makes things slightly harder. There are two AI allies in this mission: Quimby's air force to the west and Hawken's mixed ground army in the east. If Quimby attracts the standing army in the north, attaining three stars will become virtually impossible.

The player starts off with two Gyrocopters and one Steam Tank, but no way to keep them repaired; the income from the first two turns is ideally used to hire an Engineer.

Most of the Undertaker's ranged units are fighting Hawken in the east, so go on the offensive during the first three turns. Gyrocopters are invulnerable to most of the Undertaker's army, so use them to hit the enemy Cannons. Construct more Gyrocopters and keep your existing ones repaired, as they are the cornerstone of this mission.

When dealing with the final formation in the north, ensure that you have a large army with many units. The final battle takes place on a large open field, so the player can flank with Cavalry to deal massive damage to the enemy Necromancers and Cannons. Be careful with your human units; the Undertaker's ranged units can focus them down for casualties.

If having difficulty with this mission, consider returning to previous missions and attempting to get three stars (if you have not already done so). In addition to getting a better feel for the game, each Living Legend acquires a very powerful skill at level 34 that improves their hero unit drastically.
