Earlier scheduled for May 3, the NEET 2020 exam had been postponed by the NTA in the view of the Coronavirus pandemic and the nationwide lockdown that followed. However today on May 5, the Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal "Nishank" from the #HRDMinistry has announced the final dates for NEET 2020 and also for JEE Mains - April 2020. For students who wish to get into graduate and postgraduate medical courses such as MBBS, MD, MS and dental courses such as BDS, MDS in government or private medical colleges and dental colleges, they have to undergo The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). The NEET syllabus entails three main subjects - Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The NEET examination is of 720 marks out of which Physics and Chemistry are of 180 marks each and Biology is of 360 marks.
