उत्तर प्रदेश के मेरठ में पुलिस थाने की ज़मीन पर एक मस्जिद बनी होने के आरोप से हड़कंप मच गया। ये मामला चर्चा में आ गया। पुलिस का कहना है कि मेरठ के खरखौदा इलाक़े में थाने के पास सरकारी मकान बनाने की योजना है। पुलिसकर्मियों के रहने के लिए मकान के निर्माण का काम शुरू होना है और इसी के तहत वहां पर ज़मीन की जांच की गई।
