Earlier in the week, my 87-year-old father was admitted to hospital in Mississauga with pneumonia. Before visiting him, I stopped by his apartment to gather a few essentials, then spent a couple of hours with him at the hospital. With no clear timeline for his stay, I returned to his place afterward and gave it a much-needed top-to-bottom clean so everything would be ready when he’s home again.

After a long day, I finally settled back into my own space. Breakfast for dinner felt like the right kind of comfort before switching gears and getting some work done on my side hustle. A few last-minute holiday orders needed to be packed and shipped, and I’m hoping they make it under the tree in time for the people they’re meant for.

To top it all off, I ended up getting sick myself. The kind of cold that wipes you out completely. Somehow, through the fog of the so-called man flu, I managed to sit down and edit this video.
