Part two of my Dive Guernsey Day out no.6 adventure. The first shipwreck of the trip and we visit La Salle a Liberian cargo ship which was lost on the 28th May 1965 in poor visibility early one morning. She was carrying oats from Australia to Hamburg when she struck a rock and started to sink. No crew or passengers were lost in this shipwreck and she slowly slipped into the history books as its very rarely dived due to its location out on the west coast of Guernsey. At 18m she is an easy dive when the tide is slack with so much to look around and under. The sea life was good on this dive but not so good on others, hope you enjoy and keep an eye out for part three the Yorouba shipwreck dive.
