We set out to explore the East Pilbara on our Quad bike and find our way to some of the most pristine waterholes from our base camp on the Upper Carrawine river. This episode (Part 1) we venture into Running waters where the track in has a solid reputation for its challenges and where there is water all year and the added bonus of a hot spring bubbling at one end. Exploring on the Quad gives you an entirely different way of accessing some hidden gems.
On the next episode (Part 2) we are headed for Skull springs which ends up being 100km round tip for us to make it back into base camp.
