Getting defined type 4 natural hair without any frizz can be a challenge! I used the Cantu Shea Butter Maximum Hold Anti-Shedding Styling Gel With Honey and my Cantu Shea Butter for Natural Hair Leave-In Conditioning Cream with the intention of achieving a super defined braid-out. Overall I did achieve a decent braidout, but it was not super sleek or defined, I do not believe the gel has a maximum hold and I would not repurchase or use it again. Tell me your experience with this gel below.
