Rank 1 World for Alysrazor boss damage for Affliction Warlock at the time of the kill. It was a decently played kill, but there was a lot of minor mistakes that all add up. I expect this to be improved by 10-15k dps, with the main dps increase happening in execute phase because of more procs (4pT12 mainly).

Normal Affliction talents (32/3/6), but you run Glyph of Imp+Glyph of Agony+Glyph of Haunt.

The general strat for Affliction is to open with all cooldowns and use Doom. Once you're in the air you soulburn+summon imp while in the middle and /petattack Alysrazor. Shadow Bolt is filler until you use Drain Soul as filler, which is when you get to high-max haste stacks, or just before that if you can hold a juicy drain soul. You can spam drain soul to proc 4pT12 (20% shadow damage for 8s, no icd). If you have a juicy drain just hold it, instead of spamming for 4pT12 procs. I switch to Agony once my first Doom falls off.

When hiding behind the meteor make sure you don't touch the ground, as it will despawn your Imp/current pet. You can also use Demon Soul: Imp in the air as your 2nd DS for the fight, your 3rd DS will be DS:Felhunter for execute. Once you get 25 stacks, you then have +75% crit and it's worth to recast your dots (except for corr as haunt will update it). You want Felhunter out for Demon Soul: Felhunter for execute, just soulburn it out.

Mistakes made:
Slow at picking up feathers lmaoooo
Multiple times I cast another spell just before a drain tick occurred, instead of casting after the tick (big).
Missed 16th ring stack.
Not refreshing drain soul with buffs while hiding. Can also refresh haunt/se stacks. (big)
Not reapplying dots asap once I gain crit buff
Casting doomguard way too late
(Raid) Bloodlust too late (big)
Missed DS:FH on agony during execute
Losing shadow embrace stacks during execute (big mistake). If we lusted earlier I also would've had a 4pT12 massive succ at 25%.
