Trimbakeshwar, a well-known Hindu pilgrimage site, is easily accessible from Mumbai via both roads and trains. One of the twelve Jyotirlingas and a historic Hindu temple, Trimbakeshwar Shiva Temple. It can be found in Trimbak, Tehsil Trimbakeshwar, in the Indian state of Maharashtra's Nashik District. The quickest way to Trimbakeshwar Temple from Mumbai is to reach it by road. The other way to reach it is by getting a train. The time taken by the train is 3 hours and 32 minutes. Alternatively, you can take the bus, which takes eight h 30 m.
The highway en route is named NH 160, and Thane will be one of the passing-by locations while traveling from Mumbai to Trimbak. Mumbai is 61 kilometers from Trimbakeshwar. Numerous banks, hotels, restaurants, hotels, and gas stations are on the route.
There are plenty of buses available to you to go directly from Mumbai to Trimbakeshwar. It takes around 8 to 9 hours to travel by bus from Mumbai to Trimbakeshwar. The fastest bus on this route is operated by the Government of Maharashtra (MSRTC). The bus leaves Mumbai at 6.00 am to reach Trimbakeshwar and reaches Trimbakeshwar by 12 noon.

Railway Route To Reach Trimbakeshwar Temple :
Since there are no direct trains from Mumbai to Trimbakeshwar, you must first travel by train to Nashik before (175 km) continuing by road to reach Trimbakeshwar. The temple is located 36 kilometers from the closest railroad station in Nashik. Numerous trains travel this route from popular cities like Mumbai (44+ trains), Pune, Delhi, Hyderabad, and Chennai. The rail route may take 4-5 hours depending upon the chosen train to travel from Mumbai to Trimbakeshwar Temple. The starting point would be Mumbai Central.

Airway Route To Reach Trimbakeshwar Temple
Unfortunately, Nashik still lacks an airport, so Mumbai, located 166 km away, is the closest airport to the pilgrim town. So you must take either Railway or Road Route to travel from Mumbai to Trimbakeshwar.
