The Indo-Pacific: a geographical expanse that is home to the world’s most vital sea routes, most populous nations, some of the world’s largest and fastest growing economies, and a slew of diverse political systems.
Today, as interrelationships evolve between the West and the countries of the Indo-Pacific, the region has never been more pivotal.
Yet are these partnerships protecting common interests in critical areas such as global economic growth, competition from China, energy security and climate issues? How might the democracy-versus-dictatorship competition play out within the Indo-Pacific and beyond, and what might this mean for regional and global security?
To discover more about this crucial region’s role in our changing geopolitical landscape, tune in to The Democracy Forum’s June 24th broadcast.
