The American Anthem "Star Spangled Banner " is traditionally played at the end of the Swearing in Ceremony, before the Presidential Departure.
This has been the case for every inauguration
with the exception of Joe Biden's Swearing in, and with the possible exception of Eisenhower's 1957 inauguration, which, if there was a Marine blNand performance at the end, there is no footage of the performance.
Phil Regan was the first to sing the anthem, at President Truman's inauguration in 1949. Marian Anderson performed the anthem at both President Eisenhower's second inauguration, and President Kennedy's inauguration. The Morman Tabernacle Chior Performed at President Nixon's first inauguration.
Ethel Ennis performed at Nixon's second inauguration. In more recent years, Celebrities (Such as Beyoncé, Jackie Evancho, and Lady Gaga) have performed our National Anthem.
