You can see the exact moment the "coefficient of friction" shifted—the snow became saturated, heavy, and incredibly "slow." It felt like the Snowdog was sinking right into the trail surface rather than gliding over it. It’s a great lesson in end-of-season grooming: sometimes the best move is knowing when to turn around before you’re stuck in the slush.
The Bigger Picture:
While I’m out here navigating the changing seasons, I’m also reflecting on the heavy news coming out of the UK and the Middle East today. We don’t always get the full story on mainstream channels, but the developments in the war are significant. It’s a strange contrast—the peace of the trail versus the chaos in the world—but important to stay informed.
