Midelney Drain Exploring new club waters

Описание: In this episode of Bite Point Angling, I purchase a new club ticket. The Stoke Sub Hambdon and District Angling Association.
Meeting up with good friend, Mark Ragless, who some of you may know from Thorney Lakes, He takes me for a tour of the Midelney Drain. Right out on the Somerset levels and almost a mile from the nearest B road, the particular section I fished today was just about reachable by foot and completely off limits to any normal vehicle without 4 wheel drive. a further half a mile along the bank, Midelney Drain opens out into what you would expect for a typically sized drain. However Im still yet to explore this.
As in most cases with my fishing there was no particular target. just get a baited hook in the water and see what bites.
Today was purely an exploring session and just having a good look about.
I fished for about 4 hours before the Sun reached its high point and then called it a day at lunch time.
Baits were Dendra's and Red maggots with hemp and groundbait keeping the swim topped up.
