How to Remove a Mercury Power Trim From Your Boat!

Описание: In today's video I'll show you how to remove a Mercury power trim from your boat, and it's actually not very difficult! In a previous video, we went through the easy process of topping up your trim oil if your power trim motor is engaging but nothing is moving up or down. I also recommended the Lucas Oil Hydraulic Oil Booster to help stop any tiny leaks but now my trim seals are totally gone and leaking badly, so it's time to remove the trim and get it repaired or replaced.

My Mercury power trim is model 8M0055011 and was very simple to remove and I discuss different options for fixing it. In my case, I decided to test out the services of Five Star Marine in Florida, one of the most popular power trim repair shops in the US (I couldn't even find one in Canada). These guys have 2 - 5 day turnarounds and completely rebuild the trim and offer a 2 year warranty for the same price as buying a used one off eBay.
