It was a bumper weekend adventure across Oyo State, Nigeria!
We began at Idaye Hill in Iseyin, stopped by the historic home of Prof. Peller, and hiked Ado Awaye Hill to see the world-famous Suspended Lake — one of only two of its kind in the world. After a night in Iseyin, the journey ended at the crown jewel:
KAP Film Village & Resort, Igbojaye
Founded by award-winning filmmaker Kunle Afolayan, KAP Film Village is a 60-acre creative hub that blends Nollywood, tourism, and Yoruba culture. Movies like Aníkúlápó and Ìjógbon were filmed here. With its cultural lodges, serene ambience, and even a mountain to climb, it’s more than just a resort — it’s a destination where film meets nature.
