In this video we show you how to create a template for your CrypTool 2 component. A template is a pre-created CrypTool 2 workspace showing how one or more components can be used. Templates also support multiple languages. A template always consist of three files: a cwm-file, an xml-file, and an icon-file (png).

Step 1: Create new workspace for your component
Step 2: Replace everything with $key$ in your workspace
Step 3: Create xml and icon for your template (same name; different endings)
