Colts rumors from NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo on Trey Hendrickson free agency: “Our understanding is that the Bengals are still considering using the franchise tag. Now, could it be a tag and trade possibility? Perhaps. Sounds like all options are on the table for Hendrickson right now. But it is not a forgone conclusion that his time in Cincinnati is over. We will track this as we get into the scouting combine, and then closer to the start of free agency in March.”

More Colts free agency rumors from ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler: “Speaking of the Colts, my sense is their priority will be Daniel Jones, followed by receiver Alec Pierce as a 1B option. The Colts should turn up the heat on Jones closer to the combine. Though the franchise and transition tags for wide receivers are steep -- $25 million to $28 million based on projections -- the Colts tagged Michael Pittman Jr. two years ago as a way to facilitate a long-term deal. I'm not taking it totally off the table for Pierce for that reason.”
