ATV Adventure Planning: Navigating the Great Outdoors with Gaia GPS's Overland Map Layer

Описание: In this video, I'll give you my thoughts on the new Overland map layer by Gaia GPS. This is a new premium map layer that allows you a better view when planning an overland outing in public lands.

This is based on the Gaia Topo maps and adds in additional layers such as USFS, Road and Trails, Recreational sites, public land boundaries and MVUM. With anew color styling, it is able to merge all these data sets into a new Overland map which actually does a pretty good job at giving you a birds eye view of the possible types of roads and trails in an area along with providing campsite information. Making this great for any US based overlanding.

That's right, Gaia GPS Overland map is made mainly for overland activities in the US. But what about Gaia GPS users in Canada? Well we can still use the map layer, but obviously we won't see anything additional than what we see from the Gaia GPS Topo layer. The main benefit for users in Canada is using the new styling which depending on the area may be the preferred map layer in your overland or ATV route planning.
