Government discusses implementation of Kazakh President’s instructions

Описание: Ensuring economic growth and improving the living standards of Kazakh citizens are the main priorities of the government for the upcoming period, as stated by Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov during a meeting on the implementation of the instructions given by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev at an extended government session. Ministers and governors must make prompt decisions and take full responsibility for accomplishing the assigned tasks. Bektenov emphasized that concrete results are expected in each area outlined by the Head of State. He also noted the need to focus on the balanced distribution of the state budget across priority sectors. Department heads reported on plans to ensure the growth of economic sectors, enhance the legal framework for investors, develop the rare earth metals industry, and modernize the country’s engineering, transport, logistics, and road infrastructure.
