Ashlynn Lerner is best known as the protagonist of Erasing Family, which chronicles her emotional journey to reunite with her father after being alienated from him for over a decade. Her resilience and determination have inspired families around the world.

Together, they discuss the making of the film, the real-life challenges and triumphs of reunification, and the incredible power of sharing survivor stories to create change.

The NAUWOU Thrivers Speak Conference, “Warning! Children Are Not Weapons!” is dedicated to elevating the voices of adult survivors of child psychological abuse related to parental and family alienation and abduction (CPA-PFAA).

Held on October 10th and 11th, 2024, in recognition of World Mental Health Day, this historic event brought together insider researchers and survivors to share their stories and insights.
