In Salin Township, Magway Region, resistance forces (PDF) attacked a military convoy transporting reinforcements and ammunition that was advancing toward Sinphyugyun town. As a result, 45 junta soldiers were reportedly died, and five military vehicles were destroyed.

Following a Kachin Independence Army - KIA attack on the Myitkyina Air Base in Kachin State, further details have emerged regarding the loss and aftermath of junta aircraft.

In Katha Township, Sagaing Region, fighting has intensified, and KIA and allied resistance forces (PDF) have successfully seized additional junta military outposts.

Meanwhile, China has stated that the junta’s planned election could potentially contribute to Myanmar’s national reconciliation, unity, and peaceful coexistence.
