Denmark was stopped in 1/8 finals on their road to medal. They are always one of pretenders to gold medal so defeat against Hungary is one of the biggest surprises of this tournament.
I expected to see much greater roles for Lasse Anderssen and Damgaard but that was not a case. Again too much minutes for Hansen and Olson as playmaker. In my opinon that can be considered as predictable and teams very easily can adopt to that.
Young Magnus Landin is bright future of this team, we saw some of his spectacular goals. Landin on a goal proved once again he is maybe the best world keeper at this moment.
Denmark lacks powerfull right back. Sondergaard is good, but he is different kind of player. He can play wing, he can make good feints but in his age nobody can expect bombs from his hand.
Danish team needs some fresh blood as soon as possible.
