Another chilly morning out trackside as we set up our cameras for another busy day in West Chicago, Illinois at JB Tower where the Union Pacific Geneva Subdivision crosses the Canadian National Leighton Subdivision. The fall weather was completely unexpected as we’re still used to warmer weather conditions. The temperature did gradually get warmer but not as we expected to be due to the wind. Meanwhile, the rail traffic was a bit busy in the morning but slowed down just before lunch time. However, it became busy after lunch and we perfectly found our Highlight shortly afterwards. Overall, it was a really fun and great day along the tracks. Coming up next is a return trip to the Illinois Railway Museum for The Showcase Weekend!
