The Twins are back and this time they're doing a month long running challenge: running a mile every day for 30 days and they quickly learned that running is not for the faint of heart. (We died!) We have some tips on how to start running for beginners. It's hard to find the motivation to run these days due to quarantine and so we wanted to make this video to give you the motivation to get started. How to start running for beginners...well you put your shoes and start (very) slowly! While running for 30 days, you will eventually make progress and soon running will not be as daunting (ok, who am I kidding; I still dread the beginning of each run every single time). The important thing is to just go and before you know it, you'll be done with the mile! And don't fall! That's probably the best advice I can give you. As you can see, Christy really struggled in the beginning and was dying in the beginning, but the more she ran, the easier it got (it took three weeks!). Progress was definitely slow, so don't be down on yourself if you don't improve as fast as you THINK you should. Our running for 30 days results weren't huge improvements, but we did make some.
