Age of a single cell! (epigenetic clocks)

Описание: There are many different biomarkers that have now been used to develop so-called aging clocks that predict biological or chronological age. But one biomarker that has seen the most advances so far are epigenetic clocks that use DNA methylation as a measurement.

Currently, these tools work by using "bulk" data however this misses acquisition of heterogeneity in a dataset. But, a new publication in Nature Aging has now developed a framework for predicting age of a single cell! In this video we discuss how.
