During my time in Borneo, I visited the Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre, a place dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and protecting the world’s smallest bear.
This video takes you behind the scenes to see how sun bears are cared for after being rescued from the illegal pet trade, and why conservation work like this is critical to their future.
From learning about their behaviour to learning about the environment they’re being reintroduced to, this visit completely changed how I see sun bears.
