After driving over 2 hours to the trailhead only to find just 3 feet of snow, I was pretty bummed. I had wanted to build a deeper cave that I had heard was usually possible in this area. If I had brought my hot tent, this probably would've turned into a tent trip...oh well. I decided to try a proper quinzee build. I hiked an hour into the mountains and found a good flat spot. It took longer to build than I expected, but it was good to practice. It was also much easier to pack up than a tent! Thanks for watching.
Also, for those who saw my last video. My dad is doing much better, and we can hopefully get back to the cabin soon.
